Finding the perfect birthday gift for the men in your life can be a challenge. Whether you're shopping for your husband, boyfriend, father, brother, or friend, it can be difficult to choose a gift that he will love and appreciate. That's where I, JP, the Great Gift Guy, come in. I love everything to do with gifts. So why not let me help you find the perfect gift for the guy you're buying for, based on what he loves and how much you're wanting to spend. Subscribe to the blog or my YouTube channel for regular new finds, product demos and reviews or follow on Insta or Tiktok. Here below is a list I've compiled of birthday gift ideas for him, based on his interests.
I independently select all products and services. If you click through links I provide, I may earn a commission.
Hiking Gifts for Him
If the guy you're shopping for loves spending time in nature, camping, or multi-day hiking...there are plenty of great gift options for him. What about an epic lightweight tent, a hiking backpack or a sleeping mat?
Other hiking gift ideas include a camping stove, a portable water filter, or a GPS device. I have a few UK hiking product reviews on my YouTube channel as I recently replaced a lot of my gear.
BBQ Gifts for Him
The modern man loves to cook and eat and share food with friends. This opens up so many great gift options for guys who love to entertain, especially if they enjoy cooking meat on a BBQ. If 'the man in question' loves an experience rather than a tangible gift, consider giving him a gift card to his favourite restaurant, a cookbook featuring his favourite chef or cuisine, or a cooking class where he can learn to make his favourite dish. You could also put together a personalised gourmet food hamper with his favourite snacks and treats. In the line of products, first up - what about a leather apron to replace the plethora of cotton ones he has probably been given over the years. Or a meat thermometer, or fire gloves! If you have the budget, one of the best gifts my wife ever bought me was a meat smoker. This is the Pro Q!
Gardening Gifts for Him
If the guy you're shopping for has green fingers, for around £10 you could get some heavy duty, thorn proof gardening gloves. If his garden is anything like mine, the brambles and stinging nettles are a force to be reckoned with...
Farmer Gracy is one of a few suppliers that offer free delivery if you are willing to spend £50 shopping online from their website and they often have sales as one season ends and the next begins. A box full of spring bulbs or perennials will likely keep him busy for at least a morning or afternoon in his garden! What about an upgrade to his composter? Or buy him a raised bed for a herb garden!
I'm just getting started so follow Great Gift Guy for more suggestions, product videos and discount vouchers. Happy shopping!
